Like most companies their CNC department started with an automatic central feed of emulsion. It’s a basic system that’s easy to work with, but still requires a lot of human interaction for taking measurements and making reports.
Running a stable and automated process is key for Prodrive, and by automating emulsion control and supply they are now even closer to a completely automated production process.
Now we’re working on integrating the measurement data in their manufacturing software, so it will become even easier to see beyond their measurements and learn more about their processes. This way they can optimize the production processes faster.
